January 10, 2025MLK Voice 4 Youth provides a platform for young people in grades 7-12 to speak out on issues important to them, reflecting MLK’s commitment to social change and justice. Students choose from 150 American activists spanning different causes and eras to develop their message for change and compete during Black History Month. The finals take place on Sunday, February 9, at 2 PM at The baby grand, 818 N. Market Street in Wilmington, and are free and open to the public. Come hear this year’s finalists’ powerful and passionate messages as they creatively showcase their talents in spoken word and compete for the $2,000 first place prize.
